Cool Cure C
The Cool Cure C features a matte black exterior finish and has the option* to be equipped with WIFI for connectivity and a compatible smartphone app for ease of use. It has a convenient 1-liter front access water tray and an interior made of 100% food-grade ABS. The food-grade shelves are also stainless steel, ensuring safety and quality. The device includes an integrated touchscreen display located on the door and allows for temperature conversion between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Additionally, it boasts multi-color LED lighting and an interior air movement duct to enhance performance. The ambient temperature range is 45 to 100°F, with a drying and curing capacity of 2.5 pounds when wet and a storage capacity of 4.5 pounds. The Cool Cure C is stackable for efficient storage and comes with a 24-month warranty.

Cool Cure FAQ
Cool Cure uses Vaportrol Technology to precisely control vapor pressure, rather than relying on ambient temperature and relative humidity. Traditional drying environments create uncontrolled moisture gradients, which lead to terpene loss, oxidation, and yield reduction. By managing the vapor pressure differential between the plant and the surrounding air, Cool Cure stabilizes moisture movement at a cellular level, preserving both biochemical integrity and final product weight.
Terpenes are volatile compounds that evaporate when vapor pressure is not controlled. In traditional drying, fluctuations in temperature and humidity accelerate terpene loss. Cool Cure maintains a stable vapor pressure environment, preventing premature volatilization. This allows terpenes to remain intact within the trichome heads until consumption, resulting in stronger aroma and flavor release after grinding rather than during drying.
Yield loss during drying is primarily driven by excessive moisture removal beyond optimal water activity levels. Traditional methods often overshoot the target due to environmental variability. Cool Cure regulates drying to precise water activity endpoints, reducing unnecessary mass loss. This translates directly into higher sellable weight and improved revenue per harvest.
Water activity (aw) determines microbial stability, texture, and product longevity. Cool Cure targets specific water activity levels rather than relying on time-based drying. By controlling diffusion rates through vapor pressure, the system achieves uniform internal moisture equilibrium. This prevents case hardening, reduces mold risk, and ensures consistent product quality across batches.

Thanks folks! I received my new Cannatrol in fine condition, though I have not yet unpacked it. I am an OG and have the first iteration of Cannatrol-2022. It has performed excellently since the start. However my ambient room temps often exceed the Cannatrol limit of 68 degrees. This new model has a much higher range, so I grabbed another one. Excellent product and best choice I have ever made regarding my garden. Thanks for your contributions to the craft of growing.
I've been looking for a device like this for quite some time. As a homegrower, I don't have a dedicated space to dry my cannabis, and hang-drying leaves my buds vulnerable to dust and contamination. I also seem to have a hard time balancing the air conditioner and dehumidifier. I live in the Midwest, and when my harvest is ready, it's already too cold outside to run the air conditioner in my window. This device helps me maintain a more consistent drying environment while keeping my buds tasty and sticky, just the way I like them.

Just completed my first full Dry, Cure, and Store cycle with the Cool Cure and I’m extremely happy with the results. My 585 g wet harvest finished at 157 g dry. The flower burns evenly, is very smooth, and retained noticeable pine and citrus aroma with strong effects.
The Cool Cure took the guesswork and stress out of drying and curing. Cannatrol’s customer service was also excellent, especially Davey. Great product backed by great people.
