Exploring Leading-Edge Technology in Vermont
April 20 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$25Join Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) and Black River Innovation Campus (BRIC) for networking, food, drinks, and learning from and connecting with Vermont businesses at the leading-edge of technology.
This event is a part of the VBSR People.Planet.Prosperity. Speaker Series, where we come together to learn from experts and innovators in the Vermont business community. Our hosts at BRIC are a non-profit designed to empower, inspire, and support rural Vermont through technology and entrepreneurship. They provide business incubation for early stage tech start-ups, local co-working space, and collaborate with teachers and students in the region to empower technology exploration.
From 5:00 – 6:00 pm we will hear from a panel of leading technology experts from Vermont businesses including:
Matt Dunne – Founder & Executive Director, Center on Rural Innovation
Rachel Allard – Senior Director, Marketing at Resonant Link
Nicholas Day – Engineering Manager, Board Member at Chroma Technology Corp.
Rick Johnson – CEO at VOI
David Sandelman – Inventor, CTO/COO at VT Dry & Cure Technology – Cannatrol
This will be followed by a reception from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the unique space at BRIC, which is a reclaimed and repurposed schoolhouse! We will reflect on what we’ve learned, meet the speakers, and enjoy a CASH-ONLY bar and free finger foods from The Copper Fox, a local Springfield business!
This is a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues, make new connections, gain new ideas and inspiration, and have some fun. This event is open to anyone interested in VBSR’s mission: to leverage the power of business for positive social and environmental impact.
