David Sandelman - Inventor, CTO/COO
Jane Lewis Sandelman - CEO/CMO
David is the inventor of Vaportrol Technology. He led New Product Development and Engineering for Heat Timer Corp and ran the company’s field service operation. With 14 patents related to the HVAC industry, his most recent Vaportrol patent, and 2 more pending, David’s 40+ years in the controls industry, new technology development and production make him uniquely qualified to drive VT Dry & Cure Technologies into the future.
Jane has a background in traditional consumer products marketing. She has led product management teams on major consumer brands and new products for Reckitt Benckieser, Block Drug and The Mennen Company. Jane was Director of Consumer Insights for the market research company IRI, leading the Pfizer Consumer Health team. She heads the marketing, communications and sales efforts at VT Dry & Cure Technologies.
Todd received the first international prescription for medical cannabis in the Netherlands in 1994, opened the San Diego Cannabis Compassion Club in 1995, and lived in Amsterdam for over a year growing and studying cannabis. Upon return to the US, he became one of the first growers arrested for cultivating cannabis after the passage of proposition 215. His first book, How to Grow Medical Marijuana, was released in 1998. Todd also became one of the first people the federal government denied a medical necessity defense and was forced to self-surrender to a 5 year prison sentence starting on January 3rd, 2000. Todd co-produced and is featured in the documentaries, THE UNION: The Business Behind Getting High & THE CULTURE HIGH and currently writes for Grow Magazine. In 2012 Todd received the Cannabis Culture Award alongside Dr. Lester Grinspoon and Sir Richard Branson.
Andi is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is currently advising a variety of cannabis industry companies across the US. She is a Managing Member of Equitas Partners Fund, a legal cannabis investment fund and is an advisor and investor to legal cannabis companies. Andi was former CFO and head of Corporate Finance at FLRish, Inc., management company to the Harborside dispensaries and grow operations. Andi is a frequent cannabis industry speaker and member of the Arcview cannabis angel investment network (and has served on the Arcview Selection Committee and been named Outstanding Member). Andi earned an MBA degree from Yale University, a JD from Duke University Law School, and a BS in Business Administration from SUNY Albany (graduating magna cum laude).
Executive Vice President and General Manager of SMC’s Pharma Device Division. Brian has over 30 years experience in Medical Device Manufacturing serving the Drug Delivery, Diagnostic, and Surgical Procedural Instrumentation Markets. Prior to joining SMC, Brian served as Managing Director for Jabil’s Healthcare and Life Sciences division. In addition, Brian was president of Nypro’s North American Healthcare Division. Prior to Nypro, Brian was a founding member of Advanced Interconnect proving fiber optic connectivity to the TeleCom and DataCom markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
Daniel Ferrao is a Principal of the Gulf Bay Group of Companies, a real estate development and investment firm, where he focuses primarily on corporate finance and investments. Prior to joining Gulf Bay, Daniel was a tax consultant with Deloitte where he served investment management clients in the firm’s New York office. Daniel received a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a M.S.A. with a concentration in tax from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
Robin L. Marino holds the position of Chairman for Summer Infant, Inc.In the past she occupied the position of President & Co-Chief Executive Officer at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc., President & Chief Operating Officer of Kate Spade LLC, Group President-Accessories & Home at LF USA, Inc. and Group President-Accessories & Home at Global Brands Group Holding Ltd. Robin received an undergraduate degree from Stetson University.
Business leader with forty years of responsibility in commercial HVAC field sales, service and operations at Carrier, Johnson Controls and Tozour Energy Systems. Currently, President of Tozour Energy Systems comprising five business units: Commercial HVAC Equipment Sales, Mechanical Service, Energy Services, Building Automation and Parts/Supplies. Since assuming leadership of the company in 2005, the business has grown 350% top line and 1100% bottom line.
